A few points to note: George Francis (Chaos 2) is now selling failsafes again  via Microtek. Also, everyone I've spoken to says parts from Display Electronics  (on the robot wars list) are rubbish and don't work. So we say, don't buy them.  You can get much better stuff for the same prices elsewhere.
